What We're Listening To:

to while practicing yoga or Pilates (or just relaxing)!
What We're Eating:
Kitchari - According to Ayurvedic philosphy (the sister science to yoga), this is
one of the best foods to cleanse the body and eliminate toxins, and it tastes
yummy, too! I eat kitchari 2-3 times a day during my spring and fall cleanse, and I
feel lighter, more energized and better than ever after a few days.
Recipe:
Combine 2 tbsps ghee (clarified butter), 1/4 tsp cumin seeds and 1/4
tsp mustard seeds in a pot. Once the ghee has melted, add 1/4 tsp
tumeric, 1 cup split mung beans, 1 cup basmati rice and 5 cups water.
Bring to a boil, and then simmer until the water is absorbed (about 20
minutes). Enjoy!
